    Quick shout out to the homie, @Janelle_Renee for hooking me up with ‘welcome home’ breakfast yesterday.

    By now, you all know how much I like love food. The other day I found this list - 31 best pizza places in NYC, and vowed to tackle each place by the end of the summer to see if any of them measured up to Di Fara (which appears on the list and is by far, the best pizza I’ve ever had). Last night, the mission began with L&G Spumoni Gardens in Gravesend (Brooklyn). I started my pizza tour off with this because I’d heard a lot of good things about it prior to finding this list and wanted to get the ball rolling on a good note (for the sake of my taste buds).

  4. This is what budget cuts feel like. As of June 27, some stops (like the one I’m at now on the B48 line) are getting canned while some bus routes altogether will no longer exist. “Excuse me, where can I catch the B49?” “Oh, I’m sorry - that bus doesn’t run anymore.” -_-
